Quitting Blogging? 1

Hey Guys,

Firstly Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2017 offers you a great and prospective year.

Secondly, I come with the news that I am taking a break from blogging. As you can tell from July 2016 I have been very frequent with my posts. I just feel like I am at a place in my life where I’ve out grown my blog.

It has taken me a few months to come to a decision and that is that I am taking at least a year break from my blog. I need this year to grow and find out if can continue to use blogging as a hobby of mine.

2016 taught me a lot. I used 2016 as a year to experiment on those things that make me happy and also try new things. I guess I wanted to start 2017 as a clean slate and to improve myself to be the best person I can be. 2016 you readers found out a lot about my life as there is certain factors I opened up too, which are also factors to why I need this break.

My Career:

2016 was the year I graduated from university and is most definitely one of the biggest highlights of the year, but also one of my biggest achievements in my life. Since graduating I’ve been debating what career path I want to go down, I now know what I want to do. I eventually want to be a PA. So I need to focus on getting what I want in life.

My Anxiety:

I really opened up this year on my mental illness. (Check it out here: http://laurengt94.co.uk/living-with-anxiety/)  This is another reason why I am taking time out. 2017 is a year of improvements, I do not want to let my anxiety over rule my life. Its time I take control and do things out of my comfort zone.

For anyone that blogs know it can be quite time consuming. Right now in this current stage in my life I quite simply don’t have the time. My time right now is divided by; seeing family and friends, gym, work and job hunting. Which is why it isn’t fair I put pressure on myself to add writing posts to the mix.

Health and Fitness:

2016 I got a new trainer and absolutely love the gym. I already have a goal for this year, which I don’t really want to go into. I had several months out of training last year due to surgery, so it’s time to catch up and get the body I want.

Finally… I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last 3 years, from those times I was on blogger which is also still live (www.laurengt94.blogspot.com) to now. I have enjoyed every single minute of blogging, but it is time I take a break. My blog will still be online so anytime you need inspiration it will there. Remember- Do the things that make you happy! Amazing post Grace, I can so relate When we live our life with such an open book there are bound to be haters. I leave my comments section open so that my blog can be a forum for intercultural couples, but to be honest, the majority of the time it becomes my commenters attempting to bash me, my feelings, and my choices.
